Every gecko is different, if your gecko doesn't like crickets stick to feeding them crickets once a month and continue to feed them repashy and fruits as their everydya diet.
Gecko Shedding?
If your gecko is being fed properly it will grow, because they are in the reptile family they must shed. You can tell if they are about to shed because they will turn pale and will have trouble walking on smooth surfaces. They shed at night so give them plenty of space to shed so they don't get stresed out. Depending on the gecko they will or will not eat the night they are shedding, to be safe offer small amount of fruits, or supplements. (please no crickets) Crested geckos are one of the few species who eat their sheddings, so you will not have to deal with cleaning up, they have been doing it since they hatched, they will be fine. Make sure to have fresh water for your gecko, after they shed they enjoy basking a cool pool. If you have any questions please contact me!
